What I work with:
As a therapeutic counsellor I am able to work with a variety of presenting issues and problems.
Some of these include:
Anxiety, Anger, Bereavement, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, Loss and Grief, OCD, Personal development, Relationships, Self esteem/confidence, Serious illness, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues.
This list is by no means extensive and if you're struggling with something that you feel does not fit into these categories please contact me and we can have a chat about what it is that you need and hopefully I'll be able to help.
Types of Therapy:
The main approach in my practice is Person-Centred/Humanistic, however being an Integrative Counsellor allows me to be able to draw on other therapeutic approaches too.
First Session:
Our first session together allows us the opportunity to meet face to face and for you to talk more about the reasons for contacting me. It gives you the space to ask any questions you'd like the answers to or to voice any concerns that you'd like to share.
It's a chance for me to talk a bit more about how I work and go through some of the more practical aspects of our relationship.
